English

T.hirta suturalis differt from the typical form, by the margin of clypeus strongly concave between the angles dented, by the border of the pronotum with an edge often smoothes stopped by the punctuation, the scutellum punctuate along the borders almost to the apex. The first elytral interstria is more or less raised along the sutura with, behind, a narrow and deep furrow against the joining, and with the teguments of the upper surface shining. The hantenna club of the male is of thesame lenght of the female. The spots of elytra are generally white and arranged transversely.

Distribution: Anatolia, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Caucasus. It should be noted that one finds suturalis in southernmost Europe mixed with the typical form, and where it has the value of an aberratio.

It can be found mainly on the flowers of which they corrode and sometime cut the cheesecloths and the pistils. It can thus locally cause damage with the flowers of cultivated Pirus and Rosa. One also observes it on other low flowers like Taraxacum, Ranunculus, Plantago, Astraceae, and on the flowers of shrubs of Viburnum lantana and Genista scorpius.

The larva develops in vegetable remains, roots in decomposition and also in the manure hidden as fertilizer. The laying takes place in April-May and the nymphose in July-August. The imago seems to hibernate in its nymphale hull.
